OUR IMPACT

Making a Difference

The impact of our donors’ philanthropy is seen throughout EWC’s work: supporting new cohorts of students; convening impactful dialogues across nations and cultures; and forming new partnerships that address critical issues of our time.

Mustafa wants to use his background in economics to strengthen connections between nations and people of Central Asia where he was born and raised. Whether it is helping to draft economic policy to facilitate trade, or researching ways to increase cultural and political engagement, he hopes to be an agent of change by improving stability and peace throughout the region.

Imaculata has dedicated her career to working on behalf of marginalized women and children in Indonesia and believes that the connections that she is making at East-West Center, especially in her line of work as a human rights advocate, can be used to effect change once she returns to her home country.
